Something that has constantly bothered me as of lately is the fact that I have been seriously lacking in motivation. That is something that has spreads to nearly every single aspect of my life, the only thing I seem to really want to do is play video games with my friends and lounge around doing absolutely NOTHING. True, this is nothing bad at all, it is not something I feel I should be wasting all of my time on. I got ambitious goals and I have been making more-and-more headway with RoKtheReaper.com, but the lack of wanting something more is present. How do I manage this? How do I gain the once awesome motivation that I had to continue on? I found my answer. I simply do not, rather, I force myself.
I have found that my biggest strength in life is the ability to persevere. No matter how bad things get, I somehow find a way to hold on no matter how bad I want to let go. Even when I do not want to go to work, I somehow find myself pushing out of my bed, slipping on my clothes, and making my way to my 9 to 5. This is done whether-or-not I am partially sick, only have gotten 2 hours of sleep, or even if I feel it might actually be better for me to stay home to not risk poor performance in my shoddy condition. I somehow manage to not only make it out of the door, but to thrive and survive once I am actually at work. I wonder how sometimes, but then I realize why…I do so because I have no other choice.
I find that when I feel like I have no choice but to do something, whether-or-not I WANT to get it done, I will get it done. This is something that I have to apply to this blog, I have to make it mandatory. I have to become addicted to it, I have to make it part of my lifestyle more than anything else. I have many reasons for wanting to do this…but they all feel inadequate and I simply do not care about any of them by the end of the day. The best thing for me to do is simply force myself to work on it and to make sure it gets done, eventually I might actually get swept up into the flow of things and start to enjoy it again, but until then, I have to push myself as far as I can go; “Fake it until you make it”.
To be honest, I find that working on my blog is the very same thing as eating healthy and exercising to me…I simply do not care to start doing it, but once I do and see the benefits I am more hyped than ever to continue on and push forward. While seeing the payoffs of my endeavors is always good, sometimes it is the process of actually beginning that is always the problem. This new method of mines should work to relieve my mind of the stress of knowing I should be doing something better but continuing to just lounge around and do absolutely nothing.
Something that everyone can look forward to is continuous content being poured out for RoKtheReaper.com. As I have mentioned before, the main focus on this site is gaming, anime, and manga. The contents of these aforementioned hobbies of mine will be spread through interviews, reviews, news, and in-depth editorials. Also, there are two ongoing “series” of articles called “Top 5 Tuesday” and “Waifu Crush Wednesday” that will continued to be released bi-weekly alternatively. I already have some of these lined up for everyone and will continuing to work on brand new material. I will post up to 15 of the upcoming articles in the “Upcoming Articles” section featured on the right-hand side of the website.
No matter how long it might take, the main objective when I am working on any article is for it to be as high in quality as humanly possible. To the best of my ability I will give you as much detailed information as possible when expressing my thoughts through an editorial or giving a review of a game, anime, or manga. I will also strive to cover as many new releases and upcoming seasons of shows and video games as I can.
Right now, the goal is to release at least 2 articles per day of any specified content: news, reviews, editorials, and interviews. Please stay tuned to RoKtheReaper.com, whether it be on the Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or any other social media associated with this website.
