Popping up out of nowhere (at least for me), was another animated movie for Mortal Kombat. I did not have expectations for the first couple I watched, and yet I managed to enjoy them immensely and was looking forward to more. I guess someone out there heard me! Nothing to do now but see whether-or-not it’s what I’ve been hoping for.
Mortal Kombat Legends: Snow Blind is the next animated movie that we are seeing for the famed fighting game franchise. I enjoyed both Mortal Kombat Legends: Scorpion’s Revenge and Mortal Kombat Legends: Battle for the Realms, so I figure that this should be no different.
From the trailer it looks like we are following Kenshi on his journey from becoming the blind swordsman we know and love, as well as a supposed team-up with Sub-Zero. However, somethings are quite strange about the timeline we are seeing, such as “King Kano” and Shang Tsung just know devouring the Well of Souls. Also, there are features from the likes of Kabal and what appears to be Erron Black.
Despite everyone featured within the movie, I have no idea what it’s going to be about. While the person who trains Kenchi seems passionate about protecting Earth Realm, I am confused about where everyone else falls into the mix and the motivations which brings everyone together. However, I’m sure it’s going to be a bloody mess and action packed from beginning to end if the other two animated movies are anything to go off of.
