【GGStrive】Delayed Until June 11th, 2021

At 7:00PM on March 3rd, Arc System Works official twitter account announced that their highly anticipated fighting game, Guilty Gear -Strive- would be delayed until June 11th of this year. I will post the official message tweeted below for you.

Arc System Works claims that the cause of Guilty Gear -Strive- being delayed is from the feedback they received as a result of the Open Beta Test, which could only mean one thing; the lobby system.

If you read my impression from the Open Beta Test (【GGStrive】Beta Impressions ), then you would know that the lobby system is the only thing really lacking for Guilty Gear -Strive-. This was also complained about during the very first round of testing long before they even held the most recent Beta. I feel what they may be trying to implement is an easier way to matchmake without a complete overhaul. I am hoping they can improve the matchmaking experience as that is the only thing missing; though I wish they would just release a patch later on and release the game in April, I understand that they do not want to squander the opportunity to have perfection upon release. Here’s hoping!
