For those of you who are (and aren’t) in the loop, we know that Shadowverse has come out with their next entry into the beloved digital TCG (Trading Card Game), Shadowverse: Worlds Beyond as of June 17th, 2025. However, while many enjoy the game and think it’s a great entry gamewise, many people are upset about the resource economy (Card Packs going from 100 to 500 Gold, needing 3 copies to “Dust” a card, etc). This alone has netted the game an “Overwhelmingly Negative” review on Steam, which has improved to “Mostly Negative” as of this writing.
Even with that being the case, I still play the game because I just love TCGs and this is turning out to be a fun one (despite my current loathing of how lackluster Abysscraft feels compared to things like Runecraft, Swordcraft, and of course..Portalcraft). Also, while I agree that things are very stingy; getting 1 Card Pack per day, the Ranked Match event, and how giving they were as someone ignorant of the first game’s economy….I don’t think things are too bad.
Coming on July 17th, 2025 we’re going to be receiving the next Card Set in Shadowverse: Worlds Beyond titled “Infinity Evolved”. Below you’ll find the trailer, current cards they’ve shown, as well as details regarding giveaways and special chances to win prizes in accordance with this new set release. Check it out below!

I am VERY excited about the card “Ginsetsu & Yuzuki, Twin Calamities” as a card for Abysscraft. According to my friend Hana, “Classic from the og game too; she even has a leader in the OG”. So definitely not a brand new card, but new to Worlds Beyond.
Another card called “Lilanthim, Anathema of Edacity” seems absolutely ABSURD since it can infinitely respond as long as you’ve got 2 Earth Rites within your possesion; nasty.
The other cards seem particularly good as well, such as a card which damages everything upon entry and another which destroys all cards damaged (Filene, Whitefrost Bloom and Whitefrost Whisper), and even Wilbert, Desolate Paladin which will bring in 2 Holy Cavaliers with their stats modified to 2/4 with WARD. Definitely going to be a pain to deal with all of this, but I am too excited!
Here’s also a X/Twitter video which shows “Wilbert, Desolate Paladin” in action!

Seems that Battle Pass 2 is featuring a Swordcraft character as its featured Leader. I think this is pretty good since Battle Pass 1 featured Nio, an Abysscraft Leader who’s the current go-to for me personally (until I get Cerberus my beloved ♥).
This character is animated particularly well, and having a sword is a nice touch since it’s the namesake of this particular playstyle and Silvarius is also covered in full armor. The biggest downside is of course, no facial animations. I am also a bit disappointed by the wing-like designs coming from his helmet, it would feel more threatening if they were aimed upwards instead, but I guess that’s just me.
This pass is not something I’m particularly interested in beyond the Card Packs, Gold, and Vials, but I will admit he’s a good character even if I’m not a Swordcraft player.
