Now, I remember a long time ago seeing an absolutely INSANE manga where a rooster was drawn as the protagonist. This was something that just absolutely blew me away. I thought it was incredible how serious they made it, but figured that it wouldn’t go too much further. Fast forward to 2025 and we have a damn trailer for it. Well, let’s check this out and get my impressions on this trailer!
To be fair, I have NO IDEA what this manga is about, only that Rooster Fighter seemed pretty ridiculous due to its protagonist. Seems to me that a powerful rooster is taking on demons, being followed by what appears to be a wanna-be apprentice, a potential love-interest (fatal attraction), and insane antagonists. Overall, the premise seems absolutely ridiculous and I’m here for the ride!
While I see that it’s not 2D, I can understand why they chose to go with 3D for this particular anime adaptation. Drawing a rooster over and over will probably not come naturally to a lot of animation artists, thus 2D was probably less of a hassle due to the nature of things. I think the way they chose to go about it is pretty good still. A definite watch as soon as it debuts!
