Nightmare Geese is the next character coming in Season 2 of the fighting game Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves. We are treated to a trailer for him which will show off his moveset, similar to other characters. Feel free to leave your impressions after you read mine!
The first thing I want to say is that Geese looks amazing. I think he looks INCREDIBLE in the style used for Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves. They really did an amazing job with him; so much so, that I think omitting his nightmare version in favor of his classic look was the right way to go. However, I hate the back-turned image of his smiling rather than something more sinister, and I also hate they used the “Nightmare Geese” voice despite not using the aesthetic in the trailer.
As far as his moves goes, looks like classic Geese Howard. You’ve got the counters, the special moves, and normals we all know and love. Hell, I think I even spotted his Deadly Rave and Rashoumon attacks. Anyone who is a fan of Geese Howard will definitely be happy with how he plays; I think the effects on his moveset is some of the best (which shows improvement by the team).
I think this is a solid release aside from the obvious fact that he has Nightmare Geese’ voice effects despite not sporting the look. Aside from that, I think the fanatics of this character will be pleasantly surprised!
