I found Double Dragon Gaiden: Rise of the Dragons a little bit ago. I had no idea it had been released so long ago, and I played the hell out of it for a little bit; I was surprised by the myriad of characters and how expansive it was. Now, they’re back with 4 FREE DLC CHARACTERS, supporting the game further after so long.

Maximum Entertainment, alongside developer Secret Base, announced today that the beloved beat ’em up Double Dragon Gaiden: Rise of the Dragons is expanding its roster once again with four brand-new playable characters in the Bimmy & Friends DLC, available now as a free content update.
This marks the largest character update yet for Double Dragon Gaiden: Rise of the Dragons, following earlier DLC releases that introduced new fighters to the streets. Each new character in the Bimmy & Friends DLC brings a new face, new personality, and new fighting style to the city, giving players even more ways to experiment with powerful tag-team combinations.
Double Dragon Gaiden: Rise of the Dragons is a dynamic side-scrolling action brawler that brings the iconic Billy and Jimmy Lee back into action, joined by an ever-growing roster of allies and enemies as they battle the criminal underworld of New York City. Players can unleash devastating combos and special moves while unlocking upgrades and experimenting with unique character pairings.
In a fresh twist on the classic formula, players can select up to two characters to form a tag team, swapping fighters on the fly for strategic, high-impact combat.
The Bimmy & Friends DLC is live now on PC, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation® 5, and PlayStation® 4, and is completely free and unlockable today.
