It’s currently Chapter 7, Season 1 in Fortnite: Battle Royale. I don’t like most things within the Battle Pass, but that’s all right, I typically never do. The only thing I usually need to enjoy my purchase and continue to grind in the season is to have at least one main thing available to get which I am genuinely excited for. Do not get me wrong, this can sometimes prove to be too high of a requirement, but often it’s fine since at least one thing fits my sensibilities. For this particular Battle Pass it was the skin “Dark Voyager [Reality Redacted]”.
I finally got to level 85 and was able to get it, only to see from the editable styles available…that Fortnite: Battle Royale ruined how he works and thus, my hype for the skin and my entire season down the drain.

As you can tell from this screenshot I took, you do not have separate sections for each color and style of Void Voyager (the red color). Considering I’m known as “RoK the Reaper”, I LOVE skull-based imagery and designs. I wanted to use the red color within the style of “Burning Voyager”, which would give me an AMAZING red and black aesthetic I could use with some of my accessories which do not properly fit my current skin of choice (Skulldrifter).

More-often-than-not, Fortnite has followed this particular style of skin editing. You’d have different selectable styles present, the ability to toggle on or off different aspects of the costume or effects, and finally you’d have all the available colors to apply to any of the styles.
By not having style edit this way for Dark Voyager, there are tons of combinations which will never see the light of day and we are unnecessarily limited. I am hopping that there is an update which gives us different variances.
