This is the monthly site update for RoKtheReaper.com. I am going to be discussing my plans going forward as of this month, and that includes: my new schedule for posting, things I am currently working on, and what you can expect in the future. It will be broken down into a few different sections, so please check out just the ones you are interested in if you do not feel like reading the whole thing.

The Scoop
Lately has been quite the trying time for me. I had to regain my motivation by discovering who the new me is. I had gotten so use to failure that I had no idea what it was like to succeed, and frankly I was a bit afraid of success. Also, I had forgiven most people in my life and had made it a point to let go of my hatred towards past vendettas and without that motivation of trying to succeed to get back at all of them… I had nothing. What do I do now? Why should I do it? These were hard questions I had to ask myself and I did not have a definitive answer, nor was I unsure whether-or-not it was depression creeping up on me because I had pretty much “given up” on certain things. However, console from my best friend helped me get to where I needed to go, and because of that I was able to keep striving forward.
I realize I can do anything that I set my mind to, so the only thing I had to do was make goals and make plans to achieve them. I already know that it is going to take a lot of work and will be trying at times, but I am determined to succeed, no matter what the cost! I find that as Kami-sama continues to bless me and help me out within every faucet of my life, I will begin to elevate higher and higher. As long as I persevere, I will make it….I have already come this far already.
[ New Posting Schedule ]
My posting schedule is going to change somewhat. I will be doing my best to post everyday, but that may not be a realistic possibility with me working 12 hour days on the weekends (Especially since I want to game a bit with my friend Rasean in the mornings after I come home). Therefore, I am going to make it my duty to AT LEAST upload new content every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Baby steps will have to be taken, but if I can make sure I keep posting on these days I can eventually start posting on other days as well. This is not to say that I will NEVER post in Friday, Saturday, Sunday, or Monday, but you will at least know that updates will be happening on those three days I mentioned earlier if you find no new content during those other four days.
So let us have a quick recap! Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday you may get posting but it is not very likely. If you do get brand new content, it will probably be news postings rather than a full update. The days where you can expect most of your reviews and updates will be Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Oh, also, you will be able to find me making random postings about many things on my
facebook account…but of course they still all pertain to gaming, anime, and manga. It would also help if you followed me on my
twitter account.
[ What I Am Currently Working On ]
What I am currently working on is a bit of a toss-up. The only real things that I know I will be posting reviews for will be the Black Rose Alice Vol. 1 and Time Killers Vol. 1 mangas, Moribito Blu-Ray Complete Collection, and Persona 4 Arena Ultimax on Xbox 360. I also have Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS, but I am unsure whether-or-not I want to do a review for that, I am also unsure if I want to go ahead and do a review for Destiny, despite the fact a lot of reviews are already flooded in. Also, after I am done with my manga and Blu-Ray review, I will be having another package sent to me that is probably full of other goodies to review for your enjoyment, so stay tuned!
Oh, I almost forgot. On the editorial front we have a couple of things going down for both Anime/Manga and Gaming. Some of these things you can find on the right-side of the site under the topic “Upcoming Articles”, others you will have to see once they are posted on the site or are linked to on my facebook or twitter.
[ What You Can Expect in the Future ]
What you can expect in the future is more clear outlines on what I will be posting. You can also expect more things in the way of demo impressions, more game reviews, anime/manga reviews, and just random editorials dealing with anything gaming, anime, or manga related. The main thing I think you can expect from me is consistent content that gives you a reason to continue to this site to check out my writing over these passions of mine.
